Moorestown, NJ – December 20, 2010 – ICS Compliance is proud to announce that Director Robert Cardwell, Jr., Esq. has been accepted to participate on the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Regulatory Compliance subcommittee. As an attorney with more than 25 years experience in consumer and lending compliance, Mr. Cardwell has worked for both national mortgage originators, as well as the FDIC during the savings and loan crisis.
Mr. Cardwell joins colleague John Berger, Mortgage Quality Control Manager, who sits on the MBA’s Quality Assurance subcommittee. Prior to joining ICS Compliance, Mr. Cardwell served as Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer, and BSA Officer for a large credit card bank. As a graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law, his legal career spans more than 30 years of practice in California and Pennsylvania, with primary concentrations in mortgage banking, real estate, and consumer financial protection.
