New flood insurance guidelines were reviewed by Eileen Oliveira at the Bank Compliance Association of Connecticut, Inc. Annual Meeting
Hartford, CT – December 8, 2009 – ICS Compliance Manager Eileen Oliveira spoke at the Bank Compliance Association of Connecticut (BCAC) “Flood Insurance Guidance and Quarterly Regulatory Update” Annual Meeting program and luncheon on December 8, 2009 in Bristol, CT.
A dedicated Subject Matter Expert in flood insurance at ICS Compliance. Ms. Oliveira was invited by the BCAC to speak on the changing federal flood insurance laws and regulations. Her Q&A style segment was attended by Compliance Officers, Auditors, Risk Officers, Loan Officers, and other financial services professionals, as well as ICS Compliance Manager Sharon Blanchette.
“I was delighted to speak on the revised Interagency Questions and Answers issued by federal regulatory agencies this past summer and to clarify banks’ compliance responsibilities under these new guidelines,” says Ms. Oliveira. She is currently working on compliance monitoring reviews and risk assessment projects for several banks in the New England Region.
